Kurt Radtke is President of Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Corp. and Founder & CEO of Vestigium Global Advisory Group. He brings more than 20 years of senior mining and operational leadership experience across North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, building on a 20-year career in the United States Army.

His work spans critical minerals, mineral exploration, drilling, logistics, procurement, supply chain coordination, contractor governance, organizational development, operational improvement, and large-scale project execution. Across those disciplines, his focus remains consistent: align strategy, people, capital, and accountability so organizations can convert opportunity into measurable results.

Leadership at Appia

As President of Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Corp., Kurt works with the CEO, Board, leadership team, and technical specialists to support corporate strategy, exploration activities, organizational development, strategic relationships, and disciplined execution across Appia’s rare earth and uranium portfolio in Canada and Brazil.

His priority is to strengthen the connection between technical opportunity, capital allocation, operating plans, and shareholder value—ensuring that the company’s most important catalysts receive clear leadership attention and accountable follow-through.

International mining and exploration

Before joining Appia, Kurt held senior leadership positions with Maaden in Saudi Arabia, including Vice President of Field Operations & Logistics, Exploration and Resource Development. He supported one of the world’s most ambitious mineral-exploration programs, leading more than 850 employees and contractors across nine exploration sites and supporting annual drilling programs of approximately 500,000 metres across a portfolio of 219 exploration licenses.

His leadership helped strengthen drilling productivity, operating discipline, contractor capability, logistics, and the systems needed to execute exploration at scale.

Vestigium Global Advisory Group

Through Vestigium, Kurt provides selective executive advisory and operational-performance support to boards, executives, investors, and resource-sector organizations. Engagements focus on operational excellence, performance recovery, commercial and contract strategy, organizational capability, program governance, market entry, and strategic partnerships.

Leadership foundation

Kurt’s military service shaped a leadership philosophy centered on accountability, disciplined execution, servant leadership, and building teams capable of performing in demanding environments. He holds an MBA from American Military University, speaks English and Spanish, and is conversational in German and Arabic.
